# Welcome to JoJ API

> What JoJ API is and where to start, whether you consume APIs or publish them.

JoJ API is an API marketplace. **Providers** publish and monetize their APIs through our gateway — with per-object metering, fixed or pay-as-you-go plans and monthly payouts. **Consumers** subscribe to those APIs and call them all with a single API key and a shared wallet.
